APG has been designing and manufacturing powerful speakers for the performance and events market since 1978. ACTIVE AUDIO has been developing innovative solutions enabling the broadcasting of speech with perfect intelligibility since 2002. In 2016, Active Audio acquired a majority shareholding in APG and the 2 companies combined their manufacturing and R&D facilities in Nantes. Synergy in terms of technologies and approaches, as well as a shared passion for audio and acoustics led the two companies to merge in 2020, thus creating Arbane Groupe: the French manufacturer of professional sound equipment and speakers with the widest product range available.
